STEP 1Glide your hands over your pets coat to feel where tangles are located. Dispense a dollop of Conditioner around the area of each knot or tangle. Follow the directions for the product youre using. It should loosen knots and tangles in just a few minutes. |
STEP 2Once softened and easier to manage, carefully brush your pets fur with an Undercoat Rake for removing knots. Your pet might become agitated, as the pulling can be painful. Try to minimize the pain as much as possible and dont forget to comfort your fur baby. |
STEP 3Cant loosen or comb a particular knot or tangle? Grab a pair of Grooming Scissors and gently cut it loose. Make sure you first feel how far the knot is from the skin, as to avoid contact. Once youve cut around the knot, pick up a comb and see if you can brush it out. |
STEP 4If you are only having success undoing a portion of the knot because the rest of it is dry and stiff, try reapplying the conditioner before attempting to brush again. Once youve to remove the knot, pick up a Grooming Comb and see if you can brush it out. |
