KingCord Double Braid Polyester rope is very strong and provides excellent abrasion resistance. Polyester has the same effective strength and even more abrasion reisistance compared to nylon, but stretches less than nylon, so it does not have the same elasticity or shock-absorbing qualities that nylon has. It has good resistance to UV rays, and resists rot, oil, gasoline, and most chemicals. It is very popular as a marine or industrial rope where stretch is not desired. Do not use for overhead lifting. Never exceed the Safe Working Load (SWL).
