How to find the truth to punish exactly the one who committed the murder? Or maybe we should do what most of the townspeople demand - hang both of them, since they persist in their testimony? Prosecutor Felder argues this way, appealing to the jurys sense of fairness. However, the defendants lawyer Abe Lincoln has his own reasons to continue to defend the Clays. He feels that the matter is not as simple as it seems at first glance.
