1. Why the solar string lights have charged several hours, but it did not come on?
(1) The solar panel is charging ONLY when the switch is in the ON position.
If the lights are out of power, please leave the device under the sun for an hour and then cover the total solar panel. If the light is on, the button is in the ON position.
If NOT, push in the button once again and leave the device under the sun for another hour. Cover the solar panel again and it should light up.
(2) Be sure the solar panel is in a sunny location ? not in a shady area ? that means the solar panel should expose the sun.
(3) The selected location should not be near strong ambient lights, such as street lights, which may cause the light to turn off automatically.
2. Are the solar string lights waterproof?
Yes, these twinkle lights are IP65 waterproof. You can use the string lights under severe weather conditions. It is only designed to be protected from the rain. Please DO NOT immerse it in the water.
