Set contains One Side Light Jamb Shield, Hinge Shields, and Two Mini Door Shields (Currently Available in White Only). Please Note - The Jamb Shield and Hinge Shields for Side Lights are very different than the parts for normal doors so please take care in choosing your product. The patented design of Door Armor insures that MAXIMUM protection requires minimal skill for installation. Since there is no stud to secure the jamb, the Door Sidelight Jamb Shield screws back into the face of the jamb, in order to create the necessary rigidity. Please note: You might need to remove the trim along the face of the door in order to install this product. 1.The Door Armor Jamb Shield is 46" long. It attaches to the lock side of the door jamb. 2.The Jamb Shield is cut with knock-out holes that are designed to fit locks spaced from 4.5" to 21.5" apart. 3.The Door Armor Hinge Shields are 17" L-Shaped pieces that install over the existing hinges so there is not need to remove your door for installation. They secure the door to the top and bottom door frame. Sidelight doors are secured to the frame with small nails so this function is essential. 4.The Mini Door Shields are 4" and essential for ensuring that the door will not split when kicked. Mini Door Shields can be installed in less than 5 minutes and do not require removal of the locks.
