When does the brake pad need to be replaced?

1. Check the brake pad through the hole on the hub cover without removing the tire; Some brake pads have a wear indicator in the center.

2. If the brake pad has no wear indicator, measure the thickness; If less than 1/4 inch, the brake pads may need to be replaced

3. If the brake pads are not visible through the wheelhouse, the vehicle must be raised and the tyres removed to check th e brake pads.
