Protecting the undercarriage of your JKU while on the trail is key. With an LCG build, youre likely to encounter obstacles in the wild that could ruin the entire weekend. Motobilt has a solution. Our skid plate is manufactured from ¼” steel with CNC press brake bends for added strength & includes a mid-span gusset plate. The skid features six (6) drainage weep holes, as well as, countersunk mounting holes for a completely flush under belly. No hang up points for obstacles! All mounting points for the skid plate have machined threaded holes in their mating structures. No need for fish plates or nuts to remove the skid plate. We also offer an entire 4-Link Suspension Kit for JKU which includes this skid plate, transmission crossmember, rear frame crossmember and mounting brackets. Product ships raw steel and will need to be painted or powder coated. + NOTE: You must use the Motobilt front transmission crossmember (MB3023 or MB3027) and rear crossmember (MB3028) with this skid plate. The skid plate will not work with the factory gas tank and it will need to be relocated.
