When removing or installing a heating element, only use the appropriate element socket (1 1/2-inch thin wall socket) to avoid damaging the heating element and the water heater.
Ensure Compatibility
Check if your water heater unit requires part number 520900, or the superseded part number 520789. This RV water heater element is 11 inches, being the longer variation.
Aside from the length, ensure that your water heater is rated for 120V and has the correct 1440 wattage.
