Heat
The most important part of heating your RV’s plumbing system is the heater pads themselves. The tank heater pad included in the kit measures 7 ¼” W by 25” L and the elbow heater pad measures 13” L by 3” W, both pads having a thickness of 3.0MM. The tank heater pad is suitable for fresh, grey, or black water tanks ranging up to 50 gallons and includes a 36” lead wire. The elbow heater pad is suitable for a 3” elbow pipe and includes an 18” lead wire. Backed by years of experience and testing, these pads are capable of providing reliable heating even though temperatures down to 11°F, depending on the design of your RV and proper installation of the pads. With these heater pads on your side, you can brave the winter season while keeping your plumbing system safe and operational.
Convenience
While tank heater pads have an automatic sensor that tells them to turn on or off, elbow heater pads do not. For this reason, we include the Made in America single, double, or triple toggle switch with the kit. With the included toggle switch, you have the added convenience of control over your heater pad and the LED lighted on/off switch lets you check it even in the dark.
When hooking up your heater pad electrical circuit, make sure that the amps do not exceed this amount. If they are over 20 amps, add a second toggle switch.
