Electronic-Viscous Fan Clutch, APPLY to the fan blade with a pitch of 2 ½” or over

2006-2010 for Ford Explorer 4.0L/4.6L

2007-2010 for Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4.0L/4.6L

2006-2010 for Mercury Mountaineer 4.0L/4.6L

Tips

*The clutch might engage and match engine speed for up to 3 minutes during engine start-up resulting in a fan roar. Its normal and will cease soon upon disengaging. (May more than 3 minutes in cooler or at lower driving speeds)

*The clutch might sound "clicking" after the engine shuts down, its normal and will cease once the clutch disengages.

*DO NOT replace the electric fan clutch unless a specific issue is identified by proper and professional SI diagnosis.

*In the case of a necessary replacement, a DTC should be set, and/or SI diagnostics should lead to the replacement of the clutch.

*Proper tools were necessary
