The zinc and steel construction of the 8600 Series spiral gauge makes it suitable for use in hydraulic, lubricating, cooking or fuel oil tanks. They are also suitable for gasoline and diesel fuel tank levels in a variety of stationary equipment, construction and maintenance vehicles such as road sweepers and water spray trucks. The gauge incorporates a strong nickel-plated Alnico magnet. The magnet drives a standard direct read/TwinSite sender dial rated at 240 to 30 ohms that in addition to a fractional level indication directly, also supplies an electrical signal to a remote receiver (gauge). These gauges have a 1.5" MPT tank connection and are suitable for tank pressures up to 25 PSIG They are designed for top (lid) mounting. Gauge length measurement is from bottom of threads to the bottom of float guide frame.
