What is the difference between 3:1 pitch and 2:1 pitch?

  • 2:1 pitch wire-o binding are designed to fit the signature hole pattern of a 2:1 pitch wire binding machine (Two holes per inch = 21 holes for letter-size = Binding 11" length).
  • 3:1 pitch wire-o binding are designed to fit the signature hole pattern of a 3:1 pitch wire binding machine (Three holes per inch = 32 holes for letter-size = Binding 11" length).

This is very important distinguish 3:1 from 2:1 cause the things to be as different. They are used with different binding machine.
