The design of the Blue Velvet Agenda for 2023, in the format of 12 months, is inspired by a 15th century Dalmatian velvet. The design, realized with golden metal threads, reproduces a shield with seven lobes with a botanical shape inside reminiscent of an artichoke, embellished with small flowers. Velvet fabrics made with this technique were among the most expensive in the Renaissance.
