The OffWorld Percussion Darkside pads are the newest installment to OffWorld’s unique Aurora Series of modular practice pads. Like the Visitor before it, the Darkside features an all Birch construction and the Aurora exclusive magnetosphere core, giving you the flexibility of adaptation. A bit larger than its sister pad The Visitor, the Darkside weighs in at just under 3 pounds, spans 11 1/8″ in diameter, with a 9 1/4″ Darkmatter playing surface. It is 1 1/2″ tall with a thicker layer over the center core for more active playing. Overall, the Darkside provides enough bulk to create a stable and responsive playing experience, yet small enough for a comfortable fit in any backpack or gear bag. All of the Aurora Series accessories are interchangeable to the Darkside to build a pad to fit your needs.
