Measurement
- For absolute measurement, zero set on a flat surface.
- Press ‘HOLD’.
- Then put the depth gage on top of the measuring object.
- Press ‘HOLD’ again to switch off HOLD mode and get the reading.
- If it is needed, attach a suitable measuring rod to the depth gage, zero set and follow the same procedure.
How to attach an extension rod
- Select a suitable extension rod that fits the measuring depth and install it to the depth gage.
- Press ‘ZERO’ to zero set.
- Press ‘HOLD’ to keep the depth gage at zero value.
- Put the depth gage on top of the measuring object.
- Press HOLD again to switch off HOLD mode and start measuring.
