Deadlatch Mortise Lock is designed for swinging commercial storefront aluminum narrow style doors, and can also be used for residential purpose. Backset: 1-1/8" (28.6 mm) is measured from front of faceplate to center of cylinder. Lockcase is made of Steel with corrosion-resistant plating Paired 1-5/32" standard mortise keyed cylinder. With Aluminum faceplate in Aluminum Finish. with stainless steel strike plate. Handing is reversible by pulling out the latch and rotated 180 degrees. With a simple reverse turn of the key while the bolt is held retracted, retains the bolt to allow two way traffic for high traffic areas.
