Description

Blade Specifications: 80" x 1/2" x 3TPI x .025, .048 kerf; 6.5 degree tooth angle; 2-1/2" cut radius. Cutting Application: resawing kiln dry domestic wood or roughing dry wood. Timber Wolf PC (Positive Claw) tooth-style blades are primarily used by wood turners and wood carvers for resawing kiln dry domestic wood or roughing (dry wood). They are .025 thick, a rake angle of 6.5 degrees, and they incorporate the unique geometry of Timber Wolfs PC tooth design. Not meant for use on three-wheel band saws or any saw with less than a 54" blade length or a wheel diameter of less than 14". Suffolk Machinery Corporation, the maker of Timber Wolf band saw blades, manufactures some of the finest woodworking, metal cutting and saw mill blades in the world. They are made from premium Swedish silicon steel and the highest quality alloys. The blade teeth are milled into a piece of strip steel to produce a finished, razor sharp edge without having to stamp or grind the teeth. Finally, the blades are induction hardened, which allows for more precise hardness throughout the blade. The result is a blade with the perfect balance of steel, width, and thickness, with precision set teeth. What this means for you is a superior cutting blade engineered for exceptional performance and long production life. Made in the USA.
