Description
The main purpose of using an ND lens filter is to prevent overexposure. If the light is too bright, it is difficult to choose a slower shutter speed, so use an ND lens filter to reduce the amount of light entering the lens and you can shoot at a slower shutter speed. For example, if you need to shoot outdoors in strong sunlight, or if you need to shoot a waterfall with a slow shutter speed to show special effects such as bokeh water under normal light conditions with a long exposure time, you need an ND filter.

About the "X Cross Shadow Affect" of all adjustable/variable ND filters
Adjustable ND filter principle:
- Its the combination of two PL polarized lenses, by rotating the lens, to form a grating reduction structure, so that it can be adapted to more environments in an ND2-1000 interval.
- However greatly improve the practicality at the same time, adjustable ND filter also has a defect, at the junction of the two limit values(MAX & MIN), an X Cross Shadow will appear, no matter how expensive the adjustable ND is, this defect is inevitable.
By turning and adjusting different ND light reduction stops, when you turn to the MAX stop:ND1000 and the MIN stop:ND2 (shown in red), the "X Cross Shadow" will appear when taking pictures, so please avoid this overlap section when using it.
ND filter (ND FILTER) is used to reduce the light under strong outdoor light. You can achieve a large aperture shallow depth of field shooting in strong outdoor light.
