This coil spring compressor set is designed to compress most sizes of strut springs. It allows quick compression of coil springs to replace shock absorbers or spring sets. Made of heavy-duty steel, this set is durable and its forged hooks and hardened center screws guarantee longevity. Long tools are delivered in a blow-molded case for easy storage and transport
Lubricate both spindles with oil
Align the hook with the receding safety pin so that the hook fits over the spring
The two sets of hooks 180 are positioned opposite each other.
Push the safety pin into the locked position on the hook.
Use a 3/4" or 19mm socket and ratchet to turn the spindle to compress the strut spring enough to safely remove the fastener nut holding the cartridge
