If you have a faulty spare tire hoist assembly, you cant lower the spare when you need to change your tire. The usual cause of this is a rusted or corroded winch cable. The winch is constantly exposed to water, dirt, and salt from the road. Debris can also get jammed inside the winch, jamming it up. 1.The hoist rope can’t all go into the spare tire winch box ,or it will easily get stuck.
2.The hoist rope will be loose with no load, recommend to have load on at all times.
