REMOVAL OF THE TPMS SENSOR:

  1. Remove the screw that attaches the sensor to the valve stem and remove the sensor.
  2. Using a standard tire valve stem tool, pull the valve stem through the hole and discard it. Use a rubber mallet or a block of wood to avoid damage to the rim.

Installation of TPMS Sensor:

  1. Insert the new sensor through the valve stem hole making sure the flat side of the sensor is toward the rim.
  2. Using a standard valve stem tool pull the stem straight through the hole until the valve stem is fully seated. To avoid damage to the sensor and the rim, use a rubber mallet or block of wood placed between the rim and the tool to make sure the valve is pulled straight.

Registration:

  1. After installation, register the new ID numbers to the vehicle through the OBD II port, set alarm air pressure, and test the motor vehicle TPMS using procedures described in the original manufacturer’s service guide. Adjust alarm air pressure as needed.
  2. If the system fails to operate properly, check all the installation procedures to ensure proper installation and retest.

“O” stands for OBD learning mode

  1. Need a tire pressure activation device (Dutong Yuanzheng, etc.)
  2. Correctly install tire pressure sensor
  3. Adjust the tire pressure of all tires to the standard value (the manufacturers nominal value mark is located at the lower position of the door frame in the driving position)
  4. Activate the tire pressure sensor in the order of left front, right front, right rear, and left rear
  5. Connect the tire pressure sensor activation device to the OBD II interface of the vehicle, and use the OBD learning function in the tire pressure activation device to write the sensor ID
  6. Turn the ignition switch to the energized position, and reactivate the sensor in the order of front left, front right, rear right, and rear left
  7. The vehicle remains powered off and stalled for more than 25 minutes
  8. Drive at a speed of 30-100 km/h for more than 15 minutes. If the learning is successful, the tire pressure alarm light will go out. Otherwise, please skip back to step 4 and repeat the sequence operation
