Feature

●3/4" NPT (USA National Pipe Thread)- Commonly used standard pipe thread in U.S..
●SOLID BRASS- This valves body is made of solid brass (very corrosion resistant material).
●UNIDIRECTIONAL- The arrow indicates the flow direction (horizontal mounting please).
●DIRECT ACTING and NORMALLY CLOSED- The solenoid’s magnetic field with directly moves the plunger and close the orifice for any fluid or gas flow. Only opens while energized.
●VITON GASKET- Viton is a space age material that is very chemically inert. As such, it is commonly used with gasoline, kerosine and other organic solvents. Some companies sell solenoid valves with NBR gasket and advertise gasoline use. DO NOT USE NBR gasket for gasoline (it will corrode the gasket and can cause serious gasoline leak and accident or fire). If you intend on using a valve for gasoline, use only VITON gasket.

After-sales service: Amazon.com Voluntary 30-day Return Policy: You can return many items you have purchased within 30 days following delivery of the item to you. Our Voluntary 30-day Return does not affect your legal right of withdrawal in any way. You can find out more about the exceptions and conditions here.

OVERHEATING WARNING: Not designed for continuous operation(not a 100% duty cycle). While energized, under normal operating conditions, solenoid valve will get HOT. The coil will reach a maximum temperature of about 176°F (80℃), which is fully complied with national standard: JB/T7352-2010. If energized continuously for more than 8 hours the coil may burn.

Difference between IP65 and IP67

IP65 and IP67 are ratings for dust and water resistance. IP65 means the device is dustproof and can withstand water jets, but not immersion. On the other hand, an IP67 device is fully dust-tight and can be submerged in water up to 1 meter deep, providing more robust protection.

"Normally Closed" (NC) and "Normally Open" (NO) are terms used to describe the default state of a solenoid valve when it is not energized.

  • In a Normally Closed (NC) solenoid valve, the valve is closed when there is no electrical power applied to the solenoid. It opens when power is supplied, allowing the flow of fluid or gas (refer to Picture 1).
  • Conversely, in a Normally Open (NO) solenoid valve, the valve is open when there is no electrical power applied. It closes when power is supplied, blocking the flow of fluid or gas(refer to Picture 2).
