Feature

●Ceramic aluminum oxide is a self-sharpening grit that is harder, tougher, and lasts longer than aluminum oxide
●Supersize lubricant helps cut faster and cooler for an improved workpiece finish
●Cloth backing is durable, for increased edge-fray resistance
●Closed coat for a higher-quality finish than an open-coat belt
●Resin bond for heat and moisture resistance, and retaining abrasive grains well

Description

Next generation cooler cutting SG ceramic abrasive grain lasts 50 percent to 200 percent longer on mild and carbon steel, stainless, cobalt, chrome, inconel and titanium, cuts 20 percent faster than the current generation of grinding belts, longer belt life, better metal integrity, greater productivity; lowest total grinding costs. Improved Y-wt polyester waterproof cloth backing, significantly improved belt life due to better grain adhesion, edge-fray resistance, improved body retention during use for more consistent grinding throughout belt life. Improved resin bond system, improved grain-retention; cooler cutting during the life of the belt. Advanced "supersize" grinding lubricant, cooler cutting during the life of the belt, improved part finish and integrity. Precision grinding joint - a butt joint, joined with flexible tape for contour grinding. Single flex the bond is broken at a 90 degree angle to the length, creating flex lines that are perpendicular to the edge of the belt. The abrasive is stiffer in one direction and flexible in the other. Single flex is standard on most x-wt products.
