Question 1: How to verify the accuracy of the temperature?

Answer: Take out the black wire with the silver metal from the temperature clamp and put it in the boiling water. If the temperature is 100 degrees Celsius or the error is plus or minus 3%, it is normal. NOTE: Please pay attention to temperature unit conversion between Celsius/Fahrenheit.

Question 2: Does this gauge have a micron reading function?

Answer: No, the accuracy of this refrigerant manifold gauge can only reach the accuracy equivalent to this unit: -101 Kpa-0 Kpa.

Question 3: Why does the pressure value fluctuate slightly? Is it a leak or is the data inaccurate?

Answer: According to the current level of hardware processing in the industry, it is difficult to achieve a 100% completely sealed valve on the market. The sealing degree of our guage hardware can only reach 99%. But these slight leaks will not affect the use.

3-color refrigerant hoses connection and valve operation method of Vacuum Test:

  1. Switch to the vacuum function, first press ZERO to reset the data to 0.
  2. Close blue valve tightly and do not connect any hoses to the corresponding inlet.
  3. Connect the vacuum pump to the vacuum pump inlet of the refrigerant gauge with the yellow hose.
  4. Open the red valve, connect the device under test with the corresponding red hose, and then you can start the vacuum operation.

(Note: In the vacuum test, the blue valve does not work, only the red valve does. The blue valve needs to be closed. If the blue valve is not closed, the air pressure will escape from the blue valve and cause a leak, and the test data will be inaccurate.)

WARMLY NOTE:

1. The temperature measured by the gauge is allowed to deviate by 3% from the actual temperature.

2. The HVAC guage will read random numbers when it is powered on. You must press the ZERO key to clear the numbers after you power it on.

Correct steps:

  • Power it on, then close the two valves, press the ZERO key to clear the reading.
  • Connect the three-color hoses, then open the valve, and use it normally.

3. The temperature probe of the temperature clamp is a silver metal part. When testing the temperature, the silver metal must be in full contact with the object to be measured, or you can take out the silver metal to measure the temperature to make the test temperature accurate.

4. Before using the HVAC guage, please make sure that refrigerant hoses and temperature sensor clamps are connected properly. Poor connection of the temperature sensor clamps will make it impossible to read the temperature. Poor connection of the refrigerant hoses will cause refrigerant leakage.

5. Before use, please confirm the rated pressure value of the equipment under test.
