Feature

●??【OEM Quality】Each Nitrogen Oxide Inlet Downstream NOx Sensor with material and vehicle test drive before leaving the factory to ensure compliance with OEM standards. Installation is simply a matter of replacing the old or damaged NOx sensor with a new one.
●??【Operating Principle】The NOx sensor is part of the NOx abatement aftertreatment system for diesel vehicles using urea-based SCR systems. It is located Downstream of the SCR catalyst and measures the NOx gas concentration directly at the engine output, which helps determine the optimum amount of urea to inject.

What the Nitrogen Oxide Sensor does

The Nitrogen Oxide Sensor communicates with the cars brain, the ECU, sending vital real-time information about the NOx and O₂ levels in the system. the ECU can then adjust valve timing and fuel mixtures in real-time based on this data to improve engine efficiency, increase fuel economy and reduce harmful exhaust emissions.

Increased fuel consumption

If the Nox Sensor Nitrogen Sensor are not working properly, the cars ECU will not get any data on the exhaust gas status in time, so the ECU will not be able to calculate the necessary fuel mixture or air-fuel ratio. This leaves the ECU in the worst case scenario and running the fuel mixture to ensure maximum power under adverse conditions.

Engine fault light

One of the most obvious signs of a nitrogen and oxygen failure is the engine fault light coming on. Although the Nox Sensor Nitrogen Sensor itself is not mounted in the engine compartment, it is any failure of the NOx sensor that will trigger the engine warning light.

Idle shaking

Since the vehicles ECU has no way of knowing what is happening to the engine, it will assume the worst case scenario is encountered. Keep a constant flow of fuel to the engine. The engine will occasionally starve / or growl, both of which are bad for your car.
