INSTALLATION STEP

Please check the plug & fitment notes & description for accurate information.

  • Step 1. Confirm the new oxygen sensor according to your car model, year, engine.
  • Step 2. Follow the electrical wire away from the sensor, disconnect it and the O2 sensor.
  • Step 3. Thread the new sensor into place and making sure it threads properly and smoothly. (Some models are generic which just different in appearance)
  • Step 4. Tighten the o2 sensor and reconnect the electrical wire.
  • Step 5. Use the detection tool to detect the operation and clear the fault code.

When to exchange?

  1. Identify the Signal from the dashboard error.
  2. If the little yellow light on the dashboard above is on, there should be a problem with your oxygen transfer which need a replacement.

Why the fault light is on?

  1. If the fault light is on, it does not mean that sensor is faulty. Different fault code means different situation. Please judge the code carefully and find out the real problem.
  2. You need testing tools such as the OBD Scan Tool to identify if there is a problem with the oxygen sensor.

Whats the function of the oxgen sensor？

  1. Prevent catalytic converter damage.
  2. Improve engine performance.
  3. Reduce fuel consumption.
