TotalBoat 5:1 Epoxy Kits contain the traditional 5:1 marine epoxy resin and hardener combination valued for its high strength and waterproof cure ideal for a variety of boat building and repair projects.
These convenient kits contain TotalBoat Traditional 5:1 Epoxy Resin, your choice of TotalBoat 5:1 Fast or 5:1 Slow Hardener, calibrated resin and hardener pumps, measuring cups and mixing tools. So youre ready to go right out of the box. Our traditional marine 5:1 epoxy resin system has a viscosity that’s ideal for wetting out fiberglass and other reinforcement fabrics. It’s also ideal for epoxy repairs, and can be combined with fillers for high-strength filleting, fairing, and bonding.
To help ensure a proper cure, use the calibrated pumps to measure and dispense the exact 5:1 mix ratio, by volume. All it takes is ONE PUMP of HARDENER to every ONE PUMP OF RESIN. Pump instructions are included, for easy reference.
Whether youre reinstalling bulkheads or repairing delaminated decks, theres a TotalBoat 5:1 Epoxy Kit thats just the right size for your project, and budget. These convenient kits are packaged to reduce waste and save money. Dispensed 5:1, the resin and hardener containers will empty at the same time.
In cooler temperature conditions, use the 5:1 Fast Hardener to speed up curing time while still providing adequate working time. The Slow Hardener extends the working and cure times in warmer temperatures. Slow Hardener is not recommended for use in cool temperatures.

Even our favorite products, the ones wed come to rely on, had room for improvement. Itd be nice if they could hold up longer, cure faster, coat better, apply easier, and?since we all know boat ownership creates a mini maelstrom in your pocket?cost less. So we took everything we knew from 35 years of customer feedback, combined that with our own boating knowledge, and after a few years of rigorous R&D, TotalBoat was born. After decades working with local builders, makers, and DIY-ers, our innovative marine-grade products are used in thousands of applications.
