Is Your Silk Genuine Silk?

HOW TO TELL IF PROMEED SILK IS REAL:

Take off the silk sample from care instruction sheet inside the package;
Hold the sample with a pair of tweezers, and ignite the edge of the fabric;
Observe how the fabric burns. Silk burns slowly and produces a soft ash that can be easily crushed. The flame is blue and will quickly extinguish once the flame source is removed;
Examine the resulting ash or residue. Silk produces a light, soft ash that can be easily crushed and has a faint odor of burned hair.
