The essence of Kryptek is in our DNA. Combat veterans and Kryptek co-founders Butch Whiting and Josh Cleghorn took what they learned from the battlefields of Irag and Afghanistan to forge a new approach to camouflage technology and high-performance hunting apparel.

Built on real world experience and input from members of the U.S. Special Operations community, Kryptek products are a unique blend of combat-proven designs and modern textile technologies. The result is a product line that challenges norms and raises expectations of what hunting gear should be.

Over a years time, the U.S. Army took 900 soldiers and tested in micro-seconds how long it took soldiers to acquire targets using Kryptek camo. The results were overwhelmingly in Kryptek’s favor. Our camo is now utilized by U.S. Spec-Ops and coalition forces overseas, as well as elite SWAT and LE organizations domestically.
