Our Wrist Wraps are 18" long offering more material to stretch around your wrists which in turn add extra support. Were not telling you to buy a couple pairs to share with friends, or overly endorsing the fact that some celebrity uses them. What we are telling you is that the biggest failure in increasing lifts is the weakest link of the body chain, and that my friends, are our wrists.
Whether that is the shoulder press, flys, curls, cleans jerks, benching or any other heavy lift that involves the wrist. This is the single point of failure for most people, its normal, the wrist isnt meant to store or build huge muscle. Thats not rocket science.
If you have never used wrist wraps before we can tell you with certainty that it will change your lifts, help increase you ability to lift heavier and with confidence that you are not ripping and twisting your wrists to pieces. A few of our friends who have been lifiting for over 20 years have not only had surgeries but have constant pain in their wrists from unprotected lifting over the years. Using our wrist wraps are a must for them, not just for pushing movements but also for pulling by first wrapping the wrists before putting on the straps for their rows, shrugs and chins...dual protection!!
Although we are not suggesting that people should use these for normal daily wear, some do, but we dont really suggest that. The Wrist Wraps are meant to be in that moment usage because they have a binding affect in the support of the material which means increased pressure.
I began using these to increase my db curls to strengthen my biceps. My wrists could not handle that increase and would often lose proper form in the lift and damage my wrists. Once I made the use of wrist wraps a habit in heavy lifts my form was better and hardly ever suffer joint and tendon damage lifting heavy.
