These are AC ballasts. Not cheap DC ballast like others. AC ballast last longer and powers the bulb brighter. Important, please read: Bulbs & Ballasts sold separately. Selecting bulb size & color you will receive 1 pair of bulbs (2 bulbs). Selecting a ballast you will receive 1 ballast (not 1 pair). Hi/Lo bulbs require an installed relay wire harness to switch between high and low beam. If you purchase a pair of hi/lo bulbs and 2 ballast in the same order, well include this wire harness with relay for FREE. Bulb/Ballast Wattage: 55W Dual Beam/Hi-Lo sizes: H4, H13, 9004, 9007. Color Temperatures Available: 4300K, 5000K, 6000K, 8000K, 10000K The Lower the temperature (usually around 4300K or so) is the whitest and brightest. As you increase the temperature the color scales as well. 4300K - OEMs choice. Bight white, the light appears fairly white, and has light yellowish hue. 6000K-Pure White, with a very slight and barely noticeable tint of blue and purple 5000K-Bright White 8000K-Iceberg Blue, the blue is noticeably deeper than the 6000K. 10000K- Deep Brilliant Blue ,which is deeper colored than the 8000K
