Description

The OEMTOOLS 37306 Long Reach Harmonic Balancer/Pulley Installer is used to install the harmonic balancer (crank pulley) or underdrive pulley on many late model Ford, GM, Dodge, and Chrysler vehicles with V8 or V6 engines, with or without recessed threads.

This kit, which is delivered in an easy to carry and organize blow-molded case, includes the following components:
- Pully installer nut-bearing assembly.
- And four forcing screws:
1. M16 x 2.0 Screw (GM).
2. M14 x 1.5 (Dodge, Chrysler, and Jeep).
3. M12x 1.75 (Doge Chrysler, and Jeep).
4. M12 x 1.5 (Ford).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Select the correct threaded rod for your applications.
2. Assemble the threaded rod nut/bearing assembly with the bearing facing away from the hex on the threaded rod.
3. Insert the threaded rod through the balancer and screw into the end of the crankshaft.
4. Using a wrench, hold the hex end of the threaded rod.
5. Use a second wrench and rotate the nut bearing assembly clockwise until the balancer is installed and fully seated onto the crankshaft.
6. Remove the balancer installation tool.
