Choosing the Correct Filter Size

Nominal Size vs. Actual Size

The nominal size is a shorthand number rounded to the nearest whole or half inch, normally in a larger font (ex: 16 x 16 x 1). Whereas the actual size is an exact measurement, normally in a smaller font, that depicts the filters precise dimensions (ex: 15.75 x 15.75 x .75). All filters have both.

Measuring Your Air Filters

If your current air filter does not have a dimension listed on the frame, use a tape measure to record the length x width x depth to find the actual size. Then round these measurements up to the nearest inch to find a corresponding nominal size, which will be easier to locate when searching online.

This varies for every customer depending on specific needs like those referenced in the prior answer. However, our selection includes package quantities that range from 1 to 12 filters, so no matter what your situation may be, weve got you covered.
