The square features 1/16” increments laser etched up to 3” and can scribe with a mechanical pencil in the smaller holes every 1/16”. The larger 5 holes provide fixed angles for polygon miters for squares, hexagons and octagons using the included steel pin. Each square comes shipped in a foam organizer to store the square with its pin in your tool drawer. There is a pocket made in the foam organizer for the small square with center finder sold separately. The foot is 1/4” thick and can be used to gauge heights and squareness of your table saw or router. Square is large enough to mark cross cuts on a standard 2x4 lumber.
