●Each one is handmade by textile designer Lynn Reiter Weinberg in her GA. Studio using upcycled fabrics from her years designing the Silkscapes and Lrw Designs clothing collections. Creations by LRW DESIGNS feel like you are draping a piece of artwork around your neck. It feels like a rich painting of bold hues.
●This unique skinny scarf necklace adds a dash of artistry to any look whether youre dressing up a casual ensemble or adding the finishing touch to something special. To wear you simply loop it over your head for an undeniably beautiful look.
●The back portion of this statement necklace is made from hand painted cotton fabric with hand dyed yarns sewn on top. There are 7 waterfall strands attached to the fabric in varying graduated lengths. These are made from silk knot, fiber and non-precious beads strung and hand knotted on hand dyed yarns and hand crocheted threads. There are also accents in recycled hand painted multi colored silk fabrics.
●Due to the diversity of the recycled fabrics items will vary slightly in coloration. This makes each scarf unique and special.

LRW DESIGNS FIBER JEWELERY and COLLARS

All of my unique textile creations are made from my original hand painted silk and cotton fabrics from my 35 years designing art to wear clothing under the Silkscapes and Lrw Designs labels. I recycle them along with other unusual fabrics, hand dyed yarns and combine them with other fiber techniques and embellishments to create my one of a kind pieces. They are not for the timid but for those who are a bit more eclectic and like to show their creative side.

My collection is not only a way to express yourself, but it can positively impact the environment.

LRW DESIGNS STUDIO

These unique fiber creations are made from recycled hand painted fabrics created from my original designs as an art to wear clothing designer, as well as other unusual fabrics and yarns. I also handmake many of the beads , such as the silk knot ones and hand knot them on hand dyed yarns. Some of the strands are hand crocheted out of cotton thread and the beads are hand sewn to them. To wear most you simply loop it over your neck. Several are adjustable in length for added versatility. Due to the diversity of the recycled fabrics items will vary slightly in coloration which makes each a one of a kind treasure.

In the 1990s I was lucky enough to create some of Will Smiths wardrobe for the Fresh Prince of Belair show and he wore the baseball jacket on his Homebase album cover. Now I am recycling those hand painted fabrics to create my fashion accessories.
