IMPORTANT

The dock can operate solely on the USB-C connection to the laptop without an external power adapter, however if you experience:

  1. Screen flickering (Please make sure your HDMI is connected tightly, a loose connection will still extend your display but any movements to the wire can cause temporary flickering)
  2. Port disconnects
  3. External monitors not waking up after computer resumes from sleep

It means the connected peripherals are consuming more power than what the USB-C connection alone provides to the dock, in this case, please plug your laptops power adapter into the docks Power Delivery port. If your laptop does not come with a compatible Type-C charger, a Type-C mobile phone charger will work too.
