●【SCHOTT B270 Optical Glass Filter】SmallRig prides itself in its filter material, unlike other normal filters, we used SCHOTT B270 Glass from Germany, which cost more but could achieve a better photo effects without damaging image quality due to its high-transmission polariser glass. Part of their unique quality is the slightly blue colour cast they feature. This cast is added to the filter intentionally in order to reduce the problem of infrared light pollution

Why use a Polariser?
- Polarising filters are used to manage light at wavelength scale. The photos of water or metallic surface are always full of reflected glare due to the light from the sun. Thats why a CPL filter existed.
- You could rotate the filter to find the optimum position of the Polariser. In photographic terms this can render water or glass transparent, and gives the impression of saturating colours in a scene, because much of the reflected glare from the subject is removed by the Polariser.
