Skills:The trick is to configure PuTTY, Minicom or Screen for the correct output the correct baud
- The USB to RJ45 Console cable contains a chip which converts a USB port into an RS-232 Serial port. This is independent of the device being configured. Therefore the cable should work with console or aux port from any vendor. The trick is to configure PuTTY, Minicom or Screen for the correct output (/dev/ttyUSB0 for instance), the correct baud (typically 9600) and any other settings that the device expects for communication.
