Description

Peargirl Knits Patterns. Elves were the Firstborn, the first of the races of the Children of Iluvatar, who awoke in J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth a millennia before the Aftercomers. Distinguished from Men and Dwarves, they possessed near immortality. These Elvish Christmas stockings may become immortal as they are passed down from generation to generation becoming treasured heirlooms. Knit one for yourself or your favorite Elf. These are knit using heavy worsted, with a slightly tighter gauge to reduce stretching. They begin at the cuff with a provisional cast on, and the toe shaping uses short rows to curl the toe. The live stitches are put back on your needle to knit the leaves that adorn the cuff. Bells are added for some holiday jingle. Pattern includes instructions for solid or striped version. Yarn weight Aran (8 wpi) ?
