Manual mode

  • Select the manual mode through the onboard button, at this time the manual light is on, and the neutral light is off. The manual mode includes knob control and serial port control. The default is knob control. The system will automatically switch between the two control modes, that is, when the potentiometer is detected to rotate, select the knob control, and select the serial port control when the serial port receives a valid control command.
  • 2.1 Knob control: Directly turn the potentiometer to control the servo at 0-180° Rotate within range
  • 2.2 Serial port control: The on-board MCU can receive and parse the servo position command (baud rate 9600, compatible with 3.3V/5V level) sent from the host computer, external MCU and other equipment, so as to control the 2-way servo respectively

3. Back to middle mode

  • Select the return mode through the onboard button, at this time the manual light is off, the neutral light is on, and the servos MO and M1 will return to the neutral position at the same time.

Tips:

  • Because the steering gear is a relatively power-consuming device (such as MG995/MG996 steering gear), the power supply current for the steering gear must be sufficient. When the abnormal phenomenon is obviously too large, it means that the power supply current is not enough and the power supply needs to be replaced.
