Description

point testing method and judgment standard:
Put the tip of the tested object into the measuring slot of the instrument, hold the object and apply a force 4.5N and observe whether the indicator light is illuminated.

judgement:
If the indicator light is on, the test object is unqualified.
If the indicator light is not lit, the test object is qualified.


moreover:
1. Place the instrument on a touchable point, insert the tested point into the measuring slot, and apply an external force of one pound, so that the indicator lights up and the point is judged to be a sharp point.
2. Wooden splints are dangerous sharp points in wooden toys and should not be exist on toys.
3. The sensor head must be adjusted according to the regulations before each inspection to ensure the accuracy and sensitivity of the induction.
4,Sharp points are not allowed on toys used for less than 36 months.
5,there can be functional sharp points for toys aged 37 to 96 months.but warning instructions must be provided.

Adjustment method of point tester:
1、Turn clockwise to loosen the locking ring.
2、Turn the test cap clockwise until the red indicator lights up.
3、turn the test cap counterclockwise slowly until the indicator just off.
4、Turn the test cap forward/back to determine the exact position of the indicator light when it is just on.
5、Refer to the scale mark marked on the lock ring and align it with one of the scale marks on the test cap.
6、Turn the 5 scale marks of the test cap counterclockwise(The distance between the two short lines on the cap is one scale).
7、Tighten the locking ring to actually fix the test cap, and the adjustment is completed.
