How to Use:
Place the sample between the anvil and the pressure needle, and press down the handle until you feel it has been pressed to the bottom. At this time, the pointer of the meter head will point to a reading, which is the measured hardness value. Excessive pressure exceeding this limit will not damage the hardness tester, but it is unnecessary. Hold the handle tightly while reading, any twisting or movement during the test will make the reading inaccurate.
