2023 upgraded (This unit just a bluetooth receiver not a bluetooth transmitter)

The top Bluetooth button adds pause and shutdown functions. Click button means START/PAUSE. Hold the button 3 sec means ON/OFF. This unit doesnt transmit Bluetooth signal. Only receives Bluetooth signal from phone media or PC/server music sources

How is the volume controlled?

This bluetooth receiver doesnt have a volume control. You can control volume from your phone and your amplifier receiver, also set the volume on amplifier receiver then control final volume from phone to turn up and down.

Can I transmit music from a CD player to a bluetooth speaker?

This is a bluetooth receiving device which hard wires into a non-Bluetooth audio system as an additional input source that receives audio from Bluetooth devices such as your phone or computer .You need a Bluetooth transmitter
