Description
Selecting the Correct Connector
When selecting a network connector for your cable, the most important factors are the cable type and the insulated conductor diameter.
1.Check that your cable is either Cat 6 or Cat 6A
2. Your cable with an insulated conductor diameter between 1.08-1.16mm.
Please note that AWG tables do not consider insulation thickness, while the RJ45 connector hole diameter depends on it. Therefore, its crucial to rely on the cables type and insulated conductor diameter instead of just referring to AWG when selecting the right network connector.

Works with Pass Through RJ45 Crimp ToolIf you use a regular crimper, youll need a utility knife to slice off the wires right at the end of the plug as they come out, when youre done crimping. Simply cutting the wires will not do,because the tiny stubs left will prevent the plug from going into the socket. |
I cant get the Ethernet cable ends to work after crimping. What should I do?
Try some of the following steps:
1)Check that the insulated conductor diameter of your cable is within the supported range of the RJ45 connector.
2)Try a different RJ45 pass-through crimp tool.
