Why settle for cheap and basic, when you can have a luxury bow tie without the premium rate tag? All bow ties from Mrs Bow Tie are lovingly handmade in Britain by locally-trained machinists but are available at an affordable rate. Our pre-tied bow ties come on an adjustable strap with a simple clip that can be attached at the back of the neck and tucked under the collar, and our self-tie bow ties are also adjustable. Better yet, we were so tired of seeing pre-tied bow ties looking very obviously fake that we designed ours to look as if it has been tied by the wearer so that people won’t know.

Variety and individualismFrom the very beginning, design has always been one of the most vital parts of our brand. Identifying that accessories could usually only be found in plain colours and simple patterns, we set out to create a brand that offered huge variety of designs and the ability for people to choose something that matched their outfit and their personality. |
Quality not quantityOver the years, we’ve perfected the art of making a bow tie. Not only were we tired of seeing pre-tied bow ties looking cheap, basic or poorly made, we also identified that most pre-tied bow ties look obvious that they’re tied by the wearer. In response, we altered the way we made our bow ties so that even our pre-tied bow ties would look like they’ve been tied. Not only do we offer our 90% of our bow ties in both self-tie and pre-tied, they also come in four different shapes. |
Design-led FashionAt the very heart of our brand is our ability to create exclusive designs in our English factory, tested and sampled for quality before approving for availability. This design-led drive keeps us at the forefront of trends and style, quickly turning around a new design with perfected colours. Unlike brands that have their goods imported from the Far East and Middle East, we have the ability to test the print quality of every product as its made, ensuring that each product is checked with the for the best possible quality. |

Mrs Bow Tie is the original bow tie brand, launched in 2012 to bridge the gap between luxury handmade goods with premium rate tags and quick accessible products in the fast-fashion age. After six successful years, we’ve mastered affordable luxury for customers all over the world.
Between 1970 and 2000, Britain experienced the world’s biggest de-industrialisation with the loss of over 75% of manufacturing and production industry. We now live in a time where everything is made cheaply abroad and sold for high profits, but as a brand with strong eco- conscious and ethical standards, this has never been something we’ve adopted. Instead, we’ve been at the forefront of the British manufacturing comeback, training a new generation of seamstresses and production staff.
Furthermore, we are a brand of the future and believe sustainability and minimal environmental impact are vitally important for the ongoing effort to save our planet. The fashion industry is one of the world’s biggest polluters, so we are proud to say that our packaging is 100% recyclable and made from recycled materials, we have a zero plastic policy, and products are only made on demand to ensure we don’t contribute to the huge amount of clothing dumped in landfills sites.
We strive to show that British manufactured clothing doesn’t have to be expensive, and that a young brand with strong ethical standards can succeed against the wave of fast fashion giants.
