Whether used for live performance or recording applications the Audix Fireball will amaze you with its ability to handle sound pressure levels in excess of 140 dB without distortion. A cardioid polar pattern effectively minimizes noise and off-axis audio that can cause feedback and a Very Low Mass diaphragm ensures natural sound reproduction with fantastic transient response. Engineered to provide only excellent sound the Fireball has a 50Hz to 15kHz frequency response which provides excellent detail and accuracy while minimizing low frequency noise. The Microphone features a transformerless design and balanced output for interference free capturing even at long cable runs. With its round, handheld design the Audix Fireball is comfortable to hold close while applying a cupping technique with the other hand.
