This 3/8” ball head can replace the 1/4” version and add extra security and stability due to the Arri style locator pins which prevent twisting and loosening. You can tighten this to cages or any accessories via the thumb screw or really torque down on it with a hex spanner through the slotted hole. This is compatible with most Magic Arms, Friction Arms and Israeli Arms using a dual ball head system.
