22 Ft Max DistanceUp to 45 seconds for temperature reading or pairing. The digital reader has a built in timer that shuts off the probe after 10 minutes to conserve battery. |
Wireless Vent ClipWireless vent clip: Interior vent sensor transmits real-time temperature reading eliminating the need to leave the engine bay. |
Your unit should come with the sensor inside of the digital monitor. |

Step 1Read all information, instructions & warnings before using this product. Put on safety goggles and gloves for safety then remove red tabs and sensor from the adapter. Remove the battery tab from the sensor. |
Step 2Clip the sensor on the center-most vent in your car. Turn on your digital display at or near your low side service fitting by the engine compartment. Red light indicates "on". “---” indicates acquiring signal. Note: Connection time may vary, please allow up to 45 seconds for connection. |
Step 3Get prepared to fill your system by opening the hood and placing the coupler on the low pressure port. This is the only port that the coupler will fit on. To attach the coupler, pull up on the coupler then push down into the low pressure service port until you hear a click indicating a secure fit. Turn on your engine, put the handbrake on, and turn your A/C and fan to max. |
Step 4Fill your system in 10 second bursts while rotating can every 3-5 seconds. Give your system a little time to update and check the temperature gauge against the ambient temperature outside before adding another burst to your system. |
Conveniently measures vent output temperature, not pressure.
THE TARGET VENT TEMPERATURE IS -17ºF TO -23ºF TO THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE.
For Example, If outside temp is 80°F, target display temp should read between 57°F to 63°F which is -17°F or -23°F below outside temp.
DO NOT OVERFILL. When nearing target temp, charge slowly. Give your system a little time and check the temperature gauge against the ambient temperature outside before adding another burst to your system.
Keep away from direct sunlight and other sources of heat.
WARNING: DO NOT connect quick coupler to high side service port or any a/c system with pressure higher than 170 PSIG.
