Coates Charcoal- Box of 25 Medium Willow Sticks...The P.H. Coate family has specialized in willow cultivation since 1819. They have been producing premium quality artistsa vine charcoal from willow grown on the Somerset Levels Stoke Saint Gregory in Southwest England for over thirty years. Plantation willow cultivation is part of the rich heritage of the Somerset Levels stretching back for hundreds of years. A special combination of unique environmental conditions and tried and trusted traditions enable the Coate family to produce a truly unique fine art charcoal. Since Coateas produces and processes their own raw materials they are able to select only the best willow rods ensuring consistently high quality charcoal. Coateas Willow Charcoal is non-compressed and burned from rods left in their raw round shape and diameter. It is very soft and velvety and has a beautiful deep black hue especially favored by artists.This is our best selling charcoal. 25 sticks of soft Willow charcoal; perfect for drawing.
