TIPS FOR POSITIONING YOUR STENCILS ON THE BOARD
Before fixing the stencils with painters tape arrange them on the board to check the symmetry of your sign. Depending on the size of the board you may need to leave some extra space between the letter stencils. You can do that using a mold made of paper.
After spacing the stencils, measure the proper distance, lets say 1 inch, and draw a line on a piece of paper 1 inch from the top.
Cut on the line and your mold is ready. All you have to do now is to place the piece of paper between the stencils as sown in the first photo. After fixing the distance you can stick the painters tape on the stencil.
Now that all the stencils are fixed to the board you can start painting your Welcome Sign. After finishing dont forget to clean the stencils with warm water and safely store them for you next project.
